ABOUT Emma

Emma Parks is an LA/NYC based actress and writer. She is a newly minted graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama. This past year Emma co-starred in her second feature film "The Short Game". She also starred and co-wrote the Tribeca Festival short film "Dirty Towel". Emma made her Off-Broadway debut in "Fragments" with the RJ Theatre in NYC and will be returning for another show this September. Emma is dedicated to telling authentic female-driven stories that inspire positive change by encouraging audiences to think, feel, and, most importantly, empathize with lives different from their own. Along with the "Dirty Towel" feature, Emma has several other film and television projects in the works as a writer and actor.
Other film credits include: Harper (lead) in the feature film "A Deer in the Woods"; Andrea (lead) in the short "Player Piano"; and "Intervention" by Ghostlight director Alex Thompson. Emma’s theatre credits include Hermia in "A Midsummer Night’s Dream", Mary Magdalene in "Jesus Christ Superstar", Cathy Earnshaw in "You on the Moors Now" and Roberta in "Danny and the Deep Blue Sea". 
Along with acting, Emma has written two feature films, one short film, and a pilot episode for a series. She is currently working on her third feature film with Callie Carpinteri based on their short film "Dirty Towel". 
Outside of acting and writing, Emma has played soccer her whole life, including internationally bringing home a gold medal for team USA. You'll often find Emma with her nose in a book or eating unlimited breadsticks at Olive Garden.
